A testimonial -
"My friend and I booked onto a clay blending workshop with Luke at his studio in Margate. It was a really full and informative day. When we arrived Luke explained what the aim of the session was, and what we should gain by the end of the day.
Using his beautiful work as a reference, Luke showed us how to combine different clay bodies/ add stains to achieve a wide variety of tones. Using the clay blends we had made, we threw sample pots that we were able to take home for reference in our own work. Luke provided us with a delicious lunch and we chatted about all things ceramic. He gave us lots of helpful tips and advice, as well as insight into his own process and sources for materials.
His passion for working with clay is clear, not only in the work he produces but also in the knowledge he was willing to share. I'm looking forward to applying what I've learnt and would definitely recommend the day to anyone looking to expand their skillset."
