I had to include this piece from 2019. Around this time I made a run of these medium wide Crucible bowls that felt as perfect as I could imagine ever getting them.

The shape sings in these proportions. By this point I'd learned how to make adjustments to the curve on the underside of the bowl, allowing it to sit high and light, and appear almost suspended above the surface below.

The clay blend here is off-white with the faintest suggestion of green.

Each piece will be made to order.

I expect the first pieces to be ready to ship from late September 2026.
