Obsessed with the dark pink sandstone seen on train journeys through Dawlish in Devon, I began a series of experiments trying to capture those tones.

This result was far too pink, too visceral, but the textured grog pulls it back towards the geological.

Here the colour is rendered as a pair of scaled Crucible forms, larger than the versions I most commonly make.
